About Faith & Heart and Harmony Wellness
A Studio Built from the Heart
Hi, I’m Faith — founder of Heart and Harmony Wellness and your lead Reformer Pilates instructor.
At 22, I experienced a major heart attack caused by two undiagnosed congenital defects. I was told recovery would take at least a year. But just ten weeks later, I was already beginning to move again — and that’s when I found Pilates.
Pilates offered me something extraordinary:
Low-impact movement that helped rebuild my strength,
Mental focus that gave me peace beyond hospital walls,
And emotional grounding when everything felt uncertain.
What began as my personal path to recovery has become a calling: to create a space where you can feel strong, safe, and empowered — no matter where you’re starting from.
My Approach
At Heart and Harmony, we practice traditional Pilates — rooted in form, flow, and intention — with an emphasis on:
Enjoyment over intensity
Movement that energizes you, not exhausts you
Community and connection, because we heal and grow together
A non-intimidating space where your body is celebrated, not judged
My teaching style is personal, responsive, and passionate. I match the energy of the room, and I make sure every person feels seen, guided, and strong in what they’re doing.
My Qualifications
Level 2 Fitness Instructor
Level 3 Personal Trainer
Level 3 Mat Pilates
Level 3 Reformer Pilates
Currently studying Level 4 Master Practitioner in Mat Pilates

Lauren Owen
Hi, I’m Lauren!
I’m 24 and recently returned to Shrewsbury after an energising (and at times exhausting) chapter in London’s finance world. When burnout finally caught up with me, I traded spreadsheets for stretch sessions—and I’ve never looked back.
Pilates has completely transformed my life. It’s helped me reconnect with my body, quiet my mind, and rediscover balance both on and off the mat. What began as a personal wellness journey has grown into a true passion that I’m thrilled to share with others.
I’m a qualified Level 3 Mat Pilates teacher and currently training in Reformer Pilates. I teach Reformer classes on weekday mornings and Mat Pilates in the evenings, blending movement, mindfulness, and a little fun along the way—think breathwork, dance-inspired flow, and maybe even some singing if the mood strikes!
I can’t wait to welcome you to class.
